Being grandma
I’m now in a suburb south of Edmonton in Canada, helping my daughter with her four-year-old son and our new granddaughter, who was born in early December. I have been here since October, and shall return to Singapore in April. As such, I will be taking on new tech editing clients only in May 2025.

Repeat clients are the best
Bash Harry (@theharryknit) has been my client since she contacted me through this website in April. In my last entry, I blogged about my first tech edit—the Ahad Bag. Since then, we have completed the Malas Sweater (found on Ravelry) and a few accessories that will be published soon. I met Bash in September and spent an afternoon over coffee and yarn shopping. She lives in Brunei, a small country in Borneo, not far from Singapore. Unfortunately, in all the excitement, we did not take any pictures together. I am thankful for Bash’s continued support.
On my needles
My needles are carrying a circular lace shawl. I bought the Phil Mohair Soie Lurex yarn by Phildar on my visit to Happy Wool in Lyon, France in May 2023. As it so often happens, I originally bought this yarn for another project, but it got highjacked by The Cherry Blossom Shawl designed by Kristin Spurkland (in Ravelry). I'll write more about it when it is done.
Well, this is all for now. Will write when I can.
